Don’t Leave Yourself in the Dark

Lighting is the first element of design and it’s been that way since the beginning. Don’t leave yourself in the dark by looking at lamps as an “accessory” to be added after the fact. Lighting serves to define areas within room spaces, allow for mood and use changes, and can completely change the style and personality of a room. Plan your lighting in as you select your furniture and plan your space.

One of the best ways to “freshen up” or change the look of an area is to change or rearrange lighting within the space.
